Jack Fry
At the age of 27 Jack Fry opened RE/MAX of Reading on June 1, 1980 with three associates and one staff member. Interest rates soon soared from 10% to 22% slowing the real estate market down to a snail’s pace. Even with uncertain economic conditions RE/MAX grew. In 1982 Dick Bauman and the “Bauman Brothers” partnered with RE/MAX. As Jack will tell you himself, they brought him the 3 M’s to RE/MAX—maturity, management skills and money. Dick Bauman and his brothers not only helped RE/MAX survive but created a stability that helped it flourish. Today Jack is the sole owner.
In April of 2021, Jack opened a second office in Lancaster County based on the belief that growth is critical to a vibrant company. Jack selected Lancaster county for the new office because he recognized the growth opportunities, great agent base, great housing market, and a county that is open to growth and has economic strength. We’re very excited about our growth with RE/MAX Evolved in Lancaster.
